- The mouse does not slide as smoothly over normal surfaces as other Logitech mice I have had. I have it turned the sensitivity up all the way, and it still takes like 10 turns to get to the bottom of a web page.
- Many customizable features - Great range. This mouse works weel enough, but has some problems that keep it from getting 5 stars.First the good: - Very accurate pointing - The USB dongle is very small compared to competitors - The dongle stows nicely away inside the mouse, and turns off the power when you do so.
I have had Bluetooths that had long delays before connecting. The Bad: - The scroll wheel is not sensitive enough. Works from across the room when I hook my laptop up to my 55" HDTV - No delay in recognition of the mouse my by laptop.
As soon as I open the lid, the mouse is working. - The dongle fits in the mouse so tightly (at least in mine), that it takes significant effort to get it out.
It kind of sticks a little too much.
I am able to sit back on my couch with the mouse on the cloth surface and operate the laptop while it sets on the coffee table. The mouse is adjustable to any speed and I have had no problems at all. The laser mouse works on any non-mirrored surface and is superior to optical mice. I bought the mouse from Amazon.com and it arrived soon after purchase. I have also purchased the same mouse for use with my XP based desktop and it also works without fail. The software provided allows quick access to the Logitech website so you may download the latest updates and drivers.
The mouse comes complete with Duracell batteries (not cheap no-names).
I do not care for the finger control pad on the laptop except in rare instances.
You may also place the receiver into a cradle in the mouse for transporting.
The price was $10 cheaper than Best Buy for the same product and Amazon's performance was outstanding as usual. The mouse has proven to be very dependable and as long as it is a reasonable distance from the receiver, the mouse works flawlessly with our Vista Home Premium based HP Laptop.
The mouse also has a switch on the bottom to shut down the mouse when not in use.
I must have a mouse that fits well and is comfortable to use.
This mouse fits the bill completely.
In this position the mouse turns off automatically.
Great product.
It reminds me of the way the old rubber ball mouse worked when the contacts were gunked up.Now here's the funny thing. I purchased three of these and two failed to work properly -- stalling and hesitating in movement, and intermittently failing to scroll at all. My Logitech V220 wireless laser mouse is perfect. I tried them on no less than four computers, with various surfaces. Compared with against a 10 dollar super-cheapo wired laser mouse, they were pretty much worthless. Half the price and so much better. Go figure.
Is this mouse as good as the Nano or VX. It is accurate, comfortable, has solid batery life and gets the job done. No. However it is 90% of the qualtiy and features for a little more than half the price. This mouse can be used as your only mouse on a desktop. It is well designed and well engineered.
